How many people from RPGone are with DQ translations? I saw Byuu, but was wondering who else?
Hi! Here to help with translation

Hi all,
Saw your "help wanted" ad on romhacking.net for Itadaki Street Special. I'd be happy to help out with that game's translation, or any of the other projects you've currently working on. I've never worked on a large-scale project with a team before, so I probably have a lot to learn about how the process works, but we have to start somewhere, right? :p
Anyway, please let me know if I can be of some help. Thanks!
Translator Here

Hello........
yeah.
I registered here today because I would like to work with a team as a translator.
I've been in Tokyo for 11 years and working as a translator professionally since around 2003.
Any one/group that has a project needing a translator, send me a mail or PM.
* I reserve the right to decline if I think the game is lame but that's unlikely.
Hi there

Well, I've played video games since I was a kid, but didn't play any DQ game in the NES era. The first I played to the end was RPG1's translation of DQ1 for the SNES. Since then I fell in love with the series and wanted to play the best version of all the main games. So, I'm very grateful for everything DQ Translations have done so far.
Hello, Hello

A friend of mine got word that this group needs help with the actual translation parts and I'm looking to start working on translating myself. It sounds like a beautiful combination, doesn't it?
I'm a simple man working and living in Japan with hobbies including most forms of entertainment. I maintain a blog in English, although I occasionally (rarely) post in Japanese.
If it's true that some translation work could be done, I'd love to jump in and assist. Just let me know.
Free Dragon Warrior with Nintendo Power got me hooked!
celc5 — Fri, 02/26/2010 - 12:28
Way back in grade school, I subsribed to Nintendo Power just to get the free game. The first time I played Dragon Warrior, I had never seen an rpg and was like wtf is this crap?!?! After plugging away for a day or 2, I was absolutely hooked and my opinion of the genre had changed dramatically.
I also own DWII for the original Nintendo.
I believe that I've played III and IV on emulators over the past 10 years, although I don't believe I ever finished those.
A few years ago, I put about 100 hours in DQ8 which is probably in my top 3 favorite video games ever. After doing some searches for games similar to DQ8 and coming up empty, I changed my plan to look for the games missing in my DQ experience.
Btw, I still have all the NPs and they somehow survived in near mint condition... some of the ones I have are the introduction to Mario3, SFII Turbo, Battletoads, just to name a few :)

Hello. I noticed that you're wanting translators for a couple of your projects. I'm currently at about around a 2-kyuu level of the JLPT test, but I'm always looking for a good opportunity to further my Japanese language ability. I've never translated something nearly so large as a game from Japanese to English, but it's something I've always wanted to do since I was little,
If you need any help with anything, small or large, I'd be willing to try and give a hand.

Helo everyone!
I'm American, but I currently live in NZ.
I'm a Web developer and a long time fan of JRPG-style games. I've played and finished most of the games in the Final Fantasy series. I've finished "Dragon Warrior" on the NES and enjoyed re-playing it on other devices and computers using emulation.
I just got Dragon Warrior 8 for PS2. I came here hoping to find a translation for Dragon Quest V for PS2.

Hey there guys,
I hope youre all enjoying DQ3. Slaved away on that one for a long time to get that up to speed and finished, but happy with the result, and the updated work and patches that are stemming off the original project.
Keep our community strong!
