thank you! ...and my experience with the patched game

thanks to everyone involved in this translation and all the hard work, time, and dedication you guys put in. if it weren't for you, none of us would be able to read it since the company isn't going to release a translated version any time soon.
i got the sound bug in the beginning when i first played it, but luckily i only had to restart once to get past it. pcsx2 crashed when i pressed square on the world map... maybe there's already information about this, but i haven't had time to check so i thought i'd mention it anyway.
i'm using intel dual core at 2.20ghz, nvidia geforce 9300, and 4gb ram. still, the game generally runs around 30 fps. i followed the configuration guide, too. i wonder if anybody whose computer has similar specs has been able to get the game to run at normal speed?
...and now it's time for bed.

I have inferior specs to that
King Zenith — Wed, 07/21/2010 - 09:29I have inferior specs to that and I can get it to run at frame rates higher than 60fps (if I disable the frame-limiter). First of all, the map glitch is resolved in later versions of PCSX2. What version are you using? I suggest 0.9.7.Contrary to popular belief, speed-hacks do not cause problems or glitches during game-play. The only issue with speed-hacks is they can sometimes make it harder to work around the sound bug at start-up. If you have trouble working around the sound-bug at start-up, I suggest turning off the speed-hacks until you get into the game, and then turn them back on.Here are some configuration snap-shots.
Hope this helps:

On that last image, if you find you are still getting low FPS, change the resolution scaling to 1X and / or use Native resolution by checking that box.
thanks! i upgraded to the
yigyagyigyak — Thu, 07/22/2010 - 03:37thanks! i upgraded to the latest version, and your configuration images helped a lot. now the game runs almost perfectly. i had to uncheck "disable framelimiting" because otherwise it was running around 110 fps inside dungeons and buildings.
Awesome! Glad it worked for
