What the fuck am I doing wrong here? After seeing that my post patch release disks aren't working I suppose all I have is a pre-release build cause this is my first attempt to actually play the game post release. I know the console is formatted cause the build disk works. Trying to toss some pics up to show the attempts.

DaMarsMan — Fri, 07/09/2010 - 10:50I would try burning with IMGBurn instead. Also, I think all your steps are correct. Make sure you grabbed the latest patch and are applying it to the EXPANDED ISO. If you've done all that right it has to be a problem with either the burning process or the method you are using to mod your ps2. Sometimes, depending on the method, one game could work and another (patched version) could have problems.

paste the MD5 of the patched here in this thread if you want anymore help.

Okay, Tom confirmed that you
DaMarsMan — Fri, 07/09/2010 - 12:21Okay, Tom confirmed that you have indeed patched correctly. So that means, that your problem is either with burning or playing back the media.
Try:
Different burning program
Different media (DVD-R instead of +R or the other way)
Different boot method (Swap disc worked for me)
Made repeated attempts with
PlatKing — Fri, 07/09/2010 - 12:57Made repeated attempts with IMGBurn and DVDDecrypter, using DVD-R
Using Memor32....
Please Insert A Goddamn Playstation Or Playstation 2 Format Disk. :(
It's your boot method. It has
DaMarsMan — Fri, 07/09/2010 - 15:09It's your boot method. It has NOTHING to do with our translation or patching methods.
I'm starting to think that,
PlatKing — Sat, 07/10/2010 - 09:53I'm starting to think that, know a good site to get Swap Magic cheap?
How's this one?

Simple and easy to use.
DaMarsMan — Sat, 07/10/2010 - 10:31Simple and easy to use. You'll never have to deal with special patching for memor32 again.
Appears to be several
PlatKing — Thu, 07/15/2010 - 14:57Appears to be several versions of Swap Magic, does it matter which one? Is 3.6 what I need? Also wondering if I need the slide tool, I can buy the disks only or a complete kit, just wondering what I need exactly to make this work for me.
