So I bought Dragon Quest 5 for PS2, but not sure how to make the ISO. Can someone help me? Also when you burn them all together, do you have to burn them on a blank CD or on the original DQ5 disk?
Since I have a PS3, whats the best way for the game to play?

In order to make an ISO you
GrandAlchemist — Mon, 07/19/2010 - 01:01In order to make an ISO you need a program that can rip discs. I use CDBurnerXP, but any of them will work.
When you're ready to make your disc for playing you'll need a blank DVD to burn the patched game to.
The only way to play burnt PS2 games on the PS3 is with SwapMagic 3.6 or SwapMagic 3.8. If you DO get one of the SwapMagics and you have an external hard drive you can just put the ISO on your external and plug it into the PS3 and play straight off of the external.
Also note that your PS3 has to be one of the backwards compatible models (20/60/80GB).
Hope this helps!

one more question
bryantperkins@h... — Tue, 07/20/2010 - 04:04I made an ISO......now how do I put the patch with the ISO? Would I need a another program to do that? Or put both items on my hard drive of the PS3?
Swap Magic

All the instructions for
DaMarsMan — Tue, 07/20/2010 - 12:42All the instructions for patching come with the patch in the PDF file. I would assume 3.8 is better but honestly it doesn't matter because I've played it on the 3.6. You're going to need a slide tool unless you have a slim and then I'm not sure what you need. There are other places which are more suited to figuring out how to play backups. There a many methods. We suggest a few but it's up to you to find out using the internet. We want to focus more on the games than answering questions that could be answered elsewhere.
Blank DVD CD?

It's trial and error, since
Tom-Servo — Thu, 08/05/2010 - 17:20It's trial and error, since sometimes you can buy the exact same name brand and get a totally different disc. Memorex DVD-R work for me.
