tonlee83 — Tue, 02/23/2010 - 13:39
I patch my DQ's iso with DQ patch v.1.1.
There is a bug that stop me from advancing the game.
The bug appear right after Papas dead.
anyone have the same problem like me?
and what can I do with it? or I have to wait for another patch.

Tried it on PCSX2, works
Tom-Servo — Tue, 02/23/2010 - 14:45Tried it on PCSX2, works fine (DW version). I'll try it on a real PS2 later.
You sure you built the ISO correctly?
Though seems that the DQ version doesn't show 1.1 in the video so it is possible something is wonky with that version.
Tried DQ Version in PCSX2... Works Fine
King Zenith — Tue, 02/23/2010 - 15:41I just tried this in the DQ v1.1 patch in PCSX2. Worked fine. I'll see if I can test this on my PS2 tonight.
The DW version 1.1. works
Tom-Servo — Tue, 02/23/2010 - 18:18The DW version 1.1. works fine on the PS2.
I am sure that I patched it
tonlee83 — Wed, 02/24/2010 - 03:46I am sure that I patched it correctly.
I patched it right according to the steps given in the .pdf file in the .rar file of DW style v.1.1 patch.
I burned it by image burner and used it with my PS2.
The patch credit screen that appear after running it in my PS2 shows that the patch version is 1.1.
I still insist that the game stop right after Papas was killed by big fireball and his son and prince Henry was kidnapped by the demon.
Please help me on this issue.
I will try to burn it again today. Hope that it is fine.

Tom-Servo — Sat, 02/27/2010 - 13:52You'll have to build the newest 1.1 version with v1.1 hotfix 003 first. Then you need to test and see if it still crashes for you.
I'm way past Papa's death and
clarkadam8 — Wed, 08/04/2010 - 09:18I'm way past Papa's death and have had no problems at all with version 1.1 . I use the Magic swap on the actual ps 2 slim system.
The reason that we ask for
DaMarsMan — Thu, 08/05/2010 - 16:35The reason that we ask for the MD5 is because we have had many people 'sure' they have done everything right when they really haven't. We spend a decent amount of our time only to find out they didn't follow directions. The MD5 is a sure way for us to tell what is good and what is patched incorrectly.
I just beat V 1.1
clarkadam8 — Thu, 01/27/2011 - 16:37I just beat v 1.1, There were no bugs, except for game freezes when changing floors on the Sui????i (whatever you call it) board game, which is optional. So you can beat the game without ever encountering this bug. I patched it with windows XP on an old lap top from 2004. (My new one with Windows 7 wouldn't patch it). I put the game on a blank Sony DVD +R and I load it on my ps2 with the magic swap disc.
